The Security Fair Munich under the patronage of the Bavarian Minister of Interior, Mr. Joachim Herrmann

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Visitors,

Welcome to the Security Trade Fair at the fairgrounds of München.  I am pleased to have the patronage of this very interesting event.

It is the duty of the State Government of Bavaria to protect the business location of Bavaria from dangers ocurring from inside or outside the state by a consequent security policy. One part of this policy is to grant inner security, which is not only a basic law of each individual person but is also an important location factor.

Security is a vital factor for our companies: Economical success can`t  be granted without  sufficient standards of security. Through our consequent philosopy on security we are market leader in Germany since many years: Bavaria is the most secure state in Germany, München is the most secure megacity.

In order to continue this strategy, we count on an constructive and intentive dialog of  the public authorities with the industry. We will continue this dialogue within the next few years.

The Security Trade Fair München has been established during the past years as an important event and as an important meeting point for all persons responsible for security in the economy of Bavaria. It has gained an extraordinary reputation in international committees.

According to this I wish the Security Trade Fair München the same success as during the past years. I wish all visitors many interesting hours at the fair grounds and good luck to the exhibitors too.
