The BSKI is the leading organization in Germany dedicated to the protection of critical infrastructure. Since its founding in June 2018, it has been committed to safeguarding essential systems, including electricity, water, gas, and IT. Through in-depth research, training, and collaboration with experts, it aims to identify potential risks at an early stage and develop comprehensive protection strategies.

As a conceptual partner, the BSKI supports AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH in organizing KRIFA. KRIFA is the key event for prevention, crisis management, and civil protection, bringing together fire services, police, emergency medical services, aid organizations, the healthcare sector, as well as all relevant authorities involved in civil emergency response.
